Bertha Carmen Munoz Licensed Massage Therapist Orthopedic/Medical Certified
Bertha is originally from GTO, MX and raised in a small farming community in Wisconsin. Although she prefers small towns, she has come to love the larger metropolitan areas. In 1996 while living in Arizona, Bertha studied and worked at a physical therapy office learning various styles of massages: swedish, neuromuscular release, and trigger point therapy. She later moved to California and worked in a chiropractic office mainly focusing on rehabilitation. Bertha then landed in Texas in 2001 and finally made the great state her home. Her background includes compounding medications in a hospital for 18 years and the last few years authorizing health insurances. Bertha finds that her passion is massage and has been careful to try different avenues of the profession during her travels. She is grateful for all the opportunities to study different modalities that have enriched her scope of practice: aromatherapy, pre-post maternity, craniosacral release, lymphatic drainage, and reflexology. Bertha most recently received her orthopedic/medical certification to promote postural alignment & self-healing with pain relief.
